Best Restaurant in Steamboat!!!
My parents live in Steamboat, so I've eaten out there a lot. The Creekside is by far my favorite. In both winter and summer it's perfect - in summer, eating lighter salads next to the river in the sun is unbelievable. In winter, the cozy inside is great. I had my wedding rehearsal dinner there because the food is good, the ambiance is great and it's overall fantastic - and, the owners are friendly and awesome people!

“This is THE place for breakfast!!!”
My fiancee and I ate at the Creekside when we went to Steamboat in June, and it was great. Make sure you sit on the patio, it is worth the wait. The creek is right next to the patio, and you can watch and listen to the water rush by as you enjoy your breakfast. (We just went in August, and the runoff has pretty much ended, so I would say June is the best time for the creek.) The food was great, and the selection was very good. We had a very nice server, and even though this place is hoppin, she always took care of us.

best eggs benedict ever
my friend and I sat by the creek on the patio and each had a different eggs benedict. they aren't kidding when they say they are legendary. delicious food, friendly/attentive service, great location for wandering/shopping afterward. friendly to children. only reason I didn't give ambience five stars is it's very casual - which I love, but it's not the place to go if you want high-falutin decor and patrons. come to think of it, who wants that anyway?!

Friendly, attentive service, great food!
Felt right at home sitting on the patio beside the creek during our recent visit! Menu is varied and food was neatly presented. (Kids menu with great choices including fruit cup). Great selection of coffee drinks. Service was friendly and attentive -- in a down-home, "we're glad you are here," Steamboat kind of way!
